Shaping Education Policies: Insights from Moldova's Teacher Training System

The Institute for European Policies and Reforms, in partnership with the Presidential Administration of Moldova, has recently published a study on the evaluation of the initial and continuous training system of human resources in education in the Republic of Moldova. This study provides an evaluation of the initial training system and in-service teacher training system at a time when education in Moldova is at a crossroads. The research methodology involved collecting information from primary and secondary sources, including official data and the perceptions of users through specific research tools. The study's findings currently provide a basis for improving education policy agenda in the Republic of Moldova, better understanding of the policies and reforms needed to improve teacher training and development.
