Descrizione del progetto
The Observatory, established by the TOChina Centre of the Department of Cultures, Politics and Society of the University of Turin in partnership with the CERM (Centro di Ricerca sulle Minoranze) of the University of Insubria, and with the support of the Torino World Affairs Institute, aims to:
- map key China-related competences across strategic Italian stakeholders, as well as Italy-related competences across similarly strategic Chinese stakeholders, following the recommendations of the EU Knowledge Network on China (EU-KNOC);
- trace the sentiment – opinions, perceptions, images – of interested Italian publics towards China and the wider sinophone world, as well as interested Chinese publics towards Italy. In particular, it engages Italian students of International Relations, China studies and STEM disciplines, and Chinese students of International Relations, Italian studies and STEM disciplines.
